There are over 530,000 reports of child
abuse each year in Australia*.

There are more children and young people who are living with trauma resulting from abuse and neglect in their lives than we can manage.

Australian Childhood Foundation has been announced VRC’s Pin & Win charity partner for 2022 and 2023. With your help in this partnership, we will be able to provide specialist support to more children and families who need it the most.

Pin & Win is VRC’s major annual fundraising program, an initiative established in 1995 to give charities the platform to raise funds through the sale of Lexus Melbourne Cup souvenir pins.

Souvenir pins will be on sale from late 2023 up until the end of the Spring Racing Carnival with all profits going directly to support our work.

Purchasing a pin also enters the individual into the draw to win many great prizes.

Become a volunteer in 2023

We are recruiting event day volunteers to help sell pins at various Flemington events throughout the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Pin & Win presents a significant opportunity to raise awareness in the community about the importance of prioritising children’s safety and wellbeing.

Where to buy

You can purchase pins in person from volunteers at Flemington race days in 2023.

Prizes in 2022 included a 2022 Lexus NX 350h 2WD F Sport Hybrid with automatic transmission, valued at $81,694, a curated watch and jewellery collection from Kennedy valued at $37,300 and more. 2023 prizes will be announced later in 2023.
