We are proud to partner with an organisation whose ethos is to use business as a force for good. The Body Shop is deeply committed to understanding the work we do and the impact it has on the lives of children recovering from the trauma of abuse, neglect and family violence.

Together, we aim to raise awareness of the right of all children to a safe and loving childhood. The partnership also aims to raise $70,000 over the next 12 months to support our specialised therapeutic doll program.

These funds will produce 400 therapeutic dolls to be used in our counselling sessions with children, to help them heal and recover through play. It will also provide 50 children with 200 additional counselling hours, as well as specialist training for 100 counsellors.

Molly, Jaz, Frankie, Sami and Scout
– our therapeutic dolls

These specialist dolls will be used to explore children’s senses and unlock the trauma held in their bodies.
The dolls give children the chance to connect again with imagination and play to help them heal and recover.

Molly the snail
helps children communicate what home means to them.

Frankie the platypus
helps children accept and appreciate their uniqueness.

Jaz the chameleon
helps children to grow in confidence to know who they are and how to be in the world.

And Sami & Scout,
the parent and baby penguin, help children and parents to explore and nurture their relationship.

We warmly thank The Body Shop for their commitment to helping us ensure children are supported to find safety, connection and healing from the trauma of their experiences, and we welcome them on this important journey with us.
