The issues of child abuse and family violence are complex. Developing responses or interventions in situations where children and young people have experienced such trauma often present a variety of challenges for both individual professionals and the health, welfare and education systems as a whole. The Australian Childhood Foundation offers seminars that explore intervention with children and young people who have experienced abuse related trauma and their families from a range of perspectives.
Below are the 2008 seminars, they are divided into seminars that build knowledge, workshops that translate knowledge into skills and workshops that build both skills and knowledge. Click on any of the links below to view seminars and to register. If you would like further information email training@childhood.org.au.
