Tailoring training to suit your organisation

The Australian Childhood Foundation provides a range of strategies for training and resourcing the staff in your organisation. You can access any of the following programs by emailing us now at info@childhood.org.au.

Organisational In-service Training

We will develop and deliver in-service workshops for your organisation or group of organisations upon request. They can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.

Organisational Supervision

Team supervision or secondary consultation is available upon request on matters relating to understanding and working with child abuse and family violence.

Organisational De-Briefing

We will work with relevant personnel to run de-briefing programs for professionals, parents and/or community members in response to the distress and need for information following the disclosure of abuse by a child or young person.

Protocol Evaluation and Development

We will evaluate your current protocols and assist you to develop an effective response system to deal with allegations of child abuse and family violence. We can also provide advice about safe staff recruitment practices.

Supporting your community group or organisation to prevent child abuse

We have a range of community focused education strategies which strengthen parental capacity to affirm and positively relate to their children. These include parenting education seminars and parenting information kits.
