Training Policies

Course Fees

All full day seminars attract a fee of $220 (including GST). Two day seminars attract a fee of $390 (including GST).

Seminars provided by Kate Cairns as part of her national tour will attract a fee of $240 (including GST).

Payment of fees must be received a minimum of 7 days prior to the advertised seminar date unless otherwise negotiated. Due to seminars frequently being over-subscribed, payment is required to guarantee your registration. Failure to pay fees by this time may result in your registration being cancelled.

Dietary Requirements

The Foundation will make arrangements to cater for individuals with specific dietary requirements. At the point of registration, please ensure that you have notified the Foundation of any specific requests.

Health and Safety

The Foundation is committed to ensuring that the health and safety of trainers and participants is always a priority. At the beginning of each workshop or seminar, trainers will communicate a safety plan for all participants. Participants are expected to follow the directions of the trainer and/or the venue staff in the event of an emergency. At the point of registration, participants are required to inform the Foundation of any health or other related information that will enable the trainers to effectively meet any specific needs during the program experience.

Cancellation Policy

Seminar Cancellation

The seminars will be cancelled if there are insufficient registrations seven days prior to the seminar date. In the event of a cancellation, any workshop fees received will be fully refunded. Under these circumstances, the Australian Childhood Foundation is not liable for any losses incurred by participants including the pre-payment of travel, meal or accommodation costs.

Registration Cancellation

Participants are able to cancel their registration by emailing the Foundation at training@childhood.org.au. All cancellations made by participants will incur a $20 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given if a cancellation is received within 15 days of the seminar.
