A national appeal for Childhood Heroes!

Childhood Hero is our first national fundraising appeal. It recognises the great need for all Australians to act together to prevent child abuse and support children who have been traumatised by abuse and family violence. Childhood Hero does this by celebrating the fun, innocence and importance of childhood.

Childhood Hero promotes the idea that everyday heroes can make a world of difference to children because they make them feel special, loved and cared for. It is designed to remind the whole community to take every opportunity to support children, to cherish them and celebrate the fun, innocence and importance of childhood and family life.

Think about the little things you can do to be a hero in the lives of children you know.

Even more importantly, becoming a Childhood Hero is a way that you can help children who need a hero the most…child victims of abuse, trauma and family violence.
