I cannot seem to register properly?
I have finished one module but I cannot progress to the next one?
Do I get a completion certificate after I complete the program?

Q: How do I access the SMART Online Learning Program?
A: Before you access the online learning program you must firstly register. During registration you will be asked to enter a number of details including an email address and a password. The email address and password will be used to login to the program once you have registered. At the start of each new session you will be asked to login or, during the course of a session you may be asked to verify your login from time to time. The registration and login page is located at http://www.childhood.org.au/smart/learn-new.asp or click here. Before you start the program we highly recommend you read a short instructional document which is located at http://www.childhood.org.au/downloads/Instructional_Guide.pdf or click here.

Q: I cannot seem to register for the program?
A: Registration requires that you have an active connection to the internet therefore please make sure you have a current connection. Another possible reason for an inability to register is the way your internal computer network is configured may block certain sorts of traffic. We have found for example that some people who cannot register on their work computer, are able to do it via their home computer without any difficulty. If you are having problems, please contact your IT support person. The registration and login page is located at http://www.childhood.org.au/smart/learn-new.asp or click here.

Q: I have finished one module but I cannot progress to the next one?
A: The rule of thumb is that you cannot progress to the next module in the series unless you have completed the proceeding module. In order to complete a module, you must acknowledge you have completed it by clicking on the button which is found on the last slide of each module. By clicking on that link, you are telling the system that the module has been completed. The process is described in our instructional guide located at http://www.childhood.org.au/downloads/Instructional_Guide.pdf or click here.

Q: Do I get a completion certificate after I complete the program?
A: Yes, once you have completed the last module, you will have access to the Completion Certificate which is available online. You can type in your name and then print the certificate.
