Volunteering

With many organisations now providing staff with one volunteer day each year, we are increasingly being contacted by businesses with offers to assist. Given the privacy laws protecting the children we support, mentoring and other one-on-one activities are not possible. However, there are a number of other activities that the Foundation considers extremely valuable such as:

• Packing information kits; event mailouts; and gift bags
• Organise toy, video, DVD and CD drives
• Hit the streets and sell capes and pins
• Create a garden at our Mitcham Centre
• Paint some walls at our Mitcham Centre
