ANZ rocks for AChiF

ANZ’s Australian Call Centre’s talented entertainers sang, danced and joked the night away at the Australian Call Centre’s (ACC) fifth annual Talent Night at the National Theatre in St Kilda on Friday 27 July. Even ANZ CEO John McFarlane belted out a few tunes with his impressive band.

Each year the ACC selects a charity to be beneficiary of the funds raised. This year, the Australian Childhood Foundation was thrilled to be selected, and even more thrilled to receive a cheque for $6,600. These funds will go towards our clinical services team which provides specialist counselling services to children and families devastated by abuse, neglect and family violence.

We are grateful to the generosity of the ANZ Australian Call Centre, and also our much loved Childhood Hero Ambassador, Stefan Dennis, for donating his time to sit on the judging panel.

The event is the brainchild of Christine Dear, Consumer Finance Events Coordinator. Talking about her experience over the past five years managing the event, Christine said: “It’s been a fantastic experience and a thrill to know that we have helped important causes in our community, as well as enabling staff to showcase their talent across the ANZ.”
