Our Purchases & Refunds Policy
The Australian Childhood Foundation is committed to delivering the highest quality resources and educational opportunities about children. In this section, we describe what you can expect if you order resources or register for a seminar.
Ordering resource material
The Australian Childhood Foundation will ensure that all orders for printed and other resource materials will be received by you within seven days of you placing your order.
Returning the material if you are not satisfied
You are able to return any of the material you have ordered from the Foundation at no cost to you for a maximum period of 30 days after you have received it. Simply send it to us and we will refund any reasonable cost associated with its return.
Workshops and Seminars
The Foundation runs a number of workshops and seminars for parents, community members and professionals who work with children and families. Not all events attract a fee. Each event is clearly marked with how much such an event will cost.
At times, the Foundation may cancel a workshop or seminar if there are insufficient registrations. In the event of a cancellation, all registered participants will be contacted and all workshop fees received will be fully refunded.
Refunds requested by participants are only available according to the following policy.
Refunds for seminars for parents
You are able to receive a full refund for your ticket purchase if you contact us by phone, email or post a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event. Your fee will not be refunded if you contact us less than 48 hours before the event or after the event.
Refund and cancellation of professional
education seminars
Payment of fees must be received a minimum of seven days prior to the advertised seminar date unless otherwise negotiated. Due to seminars frequently being over-subscribed, payment is required to guarantee your registration. Failure to pay fees by this time may result in your registration being cancelled.
Seminar Cancellation
The seminars will be cancelled if there are insufficient registrations fifteen days prior to the seminar date. In the event of a cancellation, any workshop fees received will be fully refunded.
Registration Cancellation
You are able to cancel your registration to any workshop or seminar and request a refund of your fees by phone, email or post. However, please note that all cancellations in these circumstances will incur a $20 cancellation fee. In addition, no refunds will be given if a request to cancel your registration to a workshop or seminar is received by the Foundation within fifteen days of the scheduled date.
