Work for the Foundation

The Australian Childhood Foundation was formed in 1986 with its primary aim to advocate on behalf of children who have suffered abuse and neglect. We work to prevent child abuse and reduce the harm it causes to children, families and the community. We provide specialist trauma counselling and therapeutic care to child victims of abuse, as well as running research, education and community awareness programs.

An attractive salary package will be offered to the right candidate. The successful applicant must have a Working with Children Check (or equivalent) and be willing to abide by the Foundation’s Safeguarding Children Policies. The Australian Childhood Foundation is committed to EEO principles, anti discriminatory practice and a smoke-free workplace.
